Learn about the Encircle RTDS Remote Termite Detection System

Encircle is available exclusively through trained and licensed pest management professionals.

 

Your licensed, Encircle-certified pest management professional handles installation, maintenance, inspections, and any needed treatment. This ensures that Encircle RTDS is installed and maintained per your state’s requirements.

How It Works

Encircle RTDS does not contain termiticide, so prior to installation your home will be inspected to ensure there are no termites or signs of termite activity present.
 
Once this is verified, the system will be installed following the steps below: 

1. Your pest management professional will connect the Encircle Smart Gateway to your home's Internet router via Ethernet cable. Your home's Wi-Fi network password is not needed when connected via Ethernet.

 

2. Your pest management professional will install the Encircle Smart Sensors in the ground around the perimeter of your home​ within hard plastic stations with lids to prevent access by children and pets. 

 

3. The Encircle Smart Sensors will automatically monitor for termites, day after day, season after season.  

 

4. When termites break through the Encircle Smart Sensor’s edible matrix, a termite presence alert is triggered​.

 

5. Your pest management professional will immediately receive a termite detect alert notification  via email and text message.​

 

6. Your pest management professional will visit your home and check the alerting station to visually confirm termite presence, and they​ will inspect the surrounding area and structure to create a targeted treatment plan. 

 

7. Your pest management professional will conduct an Integrated Termite Management Response in compliance with state regulations and label  directions​. 

 

8. After your pest management  professional confirms that control was achieved, the system returns to monitoring.

How Encircle Works

Encircle Smart Gateway

During a standard installation your pest management professional will connect the Encircle Smart Gateway to your home's Internet router via Ethernet cable. Your home's Wi-Fi network password is not needed when connected via Ethernet.

Encircle Station

Low-profile Encircle Stations are installed in-ground around the perimeter of your home. Encircle Smart Sensors are then dropped inside each station. They wirelessly transmit their status daily to the Encircle Gateway installed inside of the home. The Encircle Smart Sensors contain long-lasting lithium batteries protected from the elements. The station is topped with a lid that safely locks out kids and pets.
